Ten years ago their part time accountant retired. At that time their accounts, management accounts, VAT returns, payroll and reconciliations were all produced manually. Their astute business owner appreciated the many benefits our services would provide. We became their company accountant, installed Sage Line 50 and trained and provided support to their existing and competent, accounts clerks.
For ten years we have managed their accounts from our offices at Leylands Park, whilst they continue to process the sales and purchase ledgers at their offices. We manage the payroll, and produce timely and accurate management accounts each month. Thus they benefit from business decisions backed by sound financial information. Their statutory accounts are completed with 6 weeks of their year end.
We now provide a Financial Director for the company, extending our remit to strategic business issues.

Their MD approached WBASL in 2001 for a cost effective alternative to employing a full time accountant on-site. Including company benefits this employee was costing the company £70,000 per annum.
A Senior Accounts Manager was appointed to this role. We access their accounts on-line (Sage Line 100) and control and manage their accounts. We liaise with their accounting and administration staff daily, providing advice and support. We control all month end procedures; process the payroll, produce monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts etc. We also manage and oversee all stock movements within the accounts. In 2005 we expanded our services for them to include year end accounts preparation. We conduct an internal audit for them, bringing significantly savings on audit and accountancy fees. Their MD is delighted with the service we provide - and the huge costs savings made. We now work with other companies with which he is directly associated.
