Our History

WBASL was formed in 1993 by Sarah Chadbourne – the aim – to provide a very cost effective, professional, accounting resource for small to medium sized companies.

Outsourcing as it is known today, in 1993, was a proposition ahead of its time. The business model offered by WBASL makes this service an obvious choice for small to medium sized enterprises, a considerable number of whom have now been valued clients for in excess of 15 years. Proving that the friendly, professional service offered by WBASL, provides an excellent and superior solution for the accounting requirements of their business.

Our Mission

It is WBASL’s mission to provide a cost-effective, professional accounting service for small to medium sized companies. This mission has formed the core philosophy of this firm and remains unchanged since its inception in 1993.

Our mission is more than just a statement, but forms a way of working that has helped our clients and therefore Wbasl grow from strength to strength.

Our Team

Presided over by Sarah Chadbourne, the WBASL team are as highly qualified as they are diverse. There are 7 chartered accountants, plus Jane Malone and Sarah Chadbourne, the Directors of the Company – and staff also include trained Accounts Technicians. This is a highly skilled and qualified team.

The essential ingredient of a team member is intelligence applied with a common sense approach to accounting based on the team’s combined extensive experience and knowledge.

The team includes staff members who gained their accounting qualifications with Ernst & Young and Touche Ross. Degree’s held by our team range enormously; Sociology, Maths & Economics, Philosophy, French, Accountancy and Business Administration integrate smoothly to provide a rich and rounded knowledge pool.
